Information

Wheeler Brook Farm is a family owned and operated diversified farm enterprise conveniently located thirty miles north of Boston, Massachusetts. A variety of freshly picked crops including small fruits, vegetables, sweet corn and cut flowers are seasonally available. We only sell what we produce on our approximately ten acres of tillable land. Our family friendly operation includes "Pick Your Own" strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and rhubarb. Some vegetables are periodically available for PYO including peas, beets, green and yellow beans, lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes and spinach. We also operate a self service farm stand for those who like the convenience of getting farm fresh produce but are unable to trek to the fields for the harvest.

strawberriesWe operate seven days a week during the harvest season. Our farm animals, swings, sand box and picnic area are children friendly. Samantha, our donkey is particularly pleased with those who feed her a carrot or apple if Bart the goat does not get there first.

We welcome all our customers to visit us as we take pride in providing you with the freshest and highest quality produce by hand picking our crops daily directly from our nearby fields. We always suggest that you call us to find out what crops are available for picking. Click here to read our latest Crop Update Information and Farm Activity.

Agricultural EducationPenny Heaven

A number of schools visit us each year to learn about our farm and to experience planting and harvesting crops. We take these opportunities to educate children (and parents) about agriculture so much of the activity is hands on. Of course there is a wagon ride at the end of the sessions which everyone enjoys.
