Wheeler Brook Farm
WHEELERBROOK FARM FOR SALE First I SUGGEST THAT YOU VISIT OUR WEB SITES, WHEELERBROOK FARM .NET AND .ORG FOR PHOTOS AND WHAT WE ARE. Our farm has very good soils, located 30 miles north from Boston and 3 miles from center of Georgetown. We have been farming for 45 years and are getting old with declining health so we know that we cannot maintain the place which we love and worked hard to develop. Sale would consist of most everything including a nice cozy 9 room house, 5 tractors, lots of equipment in good condition, underground overhead sprinkler and drip systems , greenhouse, 3 barns, some woodland, 2 ponds and everything needed to start planting and doing business. We have about 7 acres of good soil with potential expansion in woodland and have two other fields owned by others at which we grow more corn, potatoes etc. Have operated self-service stand and PYO berry operation since 1970. CSA, farm markets and great customer base. Our land has perpetual conservation restriction owned by Greenbelt Assn with much leeway to expand operations. Wife Barb and I have settled on price at $655,000 with everything sold as a unit. I consider the package a steal but we are 80 with declining health and unable to continue farming. We will require 6 months to vacate and find another location in which to live. Willing to coach starting farmer in spare time if desired. Feel free to visit us but call me 978-609-0627 for appointment. Bob Morehouse
